He was predeceased by: his parents, Angelo Sakelaris and Marjorie Sakelaris; and his sister Joan Corcione. He is survived by: his siblings, Elizabeth Renner of Matawan and Phillip Sakelaris of Ocean; his significant other Linda Durkel; his children, Ronald Durkel, George A. Sakelaris of Middletown, Danny Sakelaris (Paula) and Mike Sakelaris (Shannon); and his grandchildren, Nikolas, Yanni, Angelika, Danny, Emmelia and Callista. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
