It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Esther C. Brooks of Neptune, New Jersey, born in Westfield, New Jersey, who passed away on December 1, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Christensen and Ester Christensen; her husband Leonard Brooks; her daughter Nancy Mehorter; and her siblings, Clara Zimmerli, Edwin, Carl and Paul Christensen.
She is survived by: her children, David (Lois) of Scotch Plains, Stephen (Doris) of Manasquan, Marilou Rogers (James) of Toms River, Kathy VanDuzer of Northampton, PA and Robert Mehorter (Meg) of Neptune City. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren.
Due to COVID safety concerns for our friends and family, services will be private for the family.
