She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Aubrey James; her parents, Rev. Johnnie Stephenson and Queen E. Stephenson; and her siblings, Johnnie Stephenson Jr. (Faye), Garfield Stephenson (Goldie), Hattie Lane (Fleenoil), James A. Stephenson (Delores), Louvenia Johnson (Wallace) and Eugene Stephenson (Louise).
She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Sapp (Samuel); her grandchildren, Dwace (Providencia), Darrius (Monique), Derrell (Diella) and Nicholas; her great grandchildren, Shaniya, Derrell Jr., Breyonna, Darrius Jr., Kadearah, Dariana, Justice, Kayla, Sanai, Joey, Lashawn and Teairra; and her sisters, Elsie Copeland (Nelson), Queen E. Blowe (Cyrus) and Ethel S. Armstrong (Lennox). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
