She is survived by: her husband Donald Newman; her children, Allen (Brenda Newman), Kenneth (Ildiko Newman), Dennis Newman, Donald (Judy Newman), Martin (Beverly Newman) and Pamela (Tee-Tee); her siblings, Linda Scott and Ronald Scott; and her cousin Barbara Ann Worthy. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren, and host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
