She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Walker and Hazel Walker; and her siblings, Alex Walker, Billy Walker, Camille 'Bena Long and Mary Lou Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Keith Shorte; her daughter Kelly Walker Edwards (Stacy); her sister Phyllis Walker Nichols (Ron); her grandchildren, Korey Robinson (Candice) and Kourtney Edwards; her great grandchild KJ Robinson; her daughter Mercedes Scelba-Shorte (Mike); her grandsons, McCoy and Mason; and her siblings-in-law, Kirk Shorte and Deidria Davis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
