We are sad to announce that on October 3, 2022, at the age of 83, Joan Elizabeth Alwill of Neptune City, New Jersey, born in Long Branch, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Anthony Alwill; her parents, Walter Johnson and Dorothy Johnson Morrissey; and her stepfather Harold Morrissey. She is survived by: her stepmother Josephine Johnson of Bradenton, FL; her brothers, Lawrence Johnson (Linda) of Neptune, NJ and William Johnson (Elaine) of Stockton, NJ; and her stepsisters, Nancy Rhine of Bradenton, FL and Caroline Dunn (Stephen) of Brick, NJ. She is also survived by half-brothers and sister; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Arc of Monmouth, 1158 Wayside Road, Tinton Falls, NJ 07724; specifically the Community Support Workers/Independent Living Program.
