It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James A. Ward (Neptune City, New Jersey), born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on November 18, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ward and Edith Ward; and his siblings, Mary Ward, Daniel Ward and Josephine Kosenski.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ward (Sullivan); his children, James F. (Debbie), Paul T. (Michelle), Lisa W. Aker (Greg) and Brian C. (Kelly); his grandchildren, Rachel, James P., Declan, Mackenzie, Ryan, Quinn, Jimmy MacWilliams and Brianna; and his parents-in-law, Gerald T. Sullivan (Kathleen), Diane Sullivan and Karen Sullivan. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, and countless friends.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Elizabeth Church, 424 Lincoln Avenue, Avon-by-the-Sea on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 11a.m. Jim was a committed donor to the Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 http://www.stjude.org where donations may be made in his memory.
