She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wesley Cotton and Hattie Monroe Cotton; her husband Edward J. Booker; and her brothers, Theren Monroe, James Bennie Cotton and Charlie.
She is survived by: her children, Aubrey Monroe (Anita), Edward B. Booker (Toi) and Melissa Jenkins (Lester); her grandchildren, Shyniece Booker, Jayhahn Booker, Leah Roundtree, Ashley Pearson, Jada Jenkins, Daja Owens and Elijah Spikes; her great grandchildren, Zahmiya, Kaleelah and Heaven Meacham; her siblings, Betty Monroe and James Gillespie (Nan); her aunt Sarah Johnson; her sisters-in-law, Ada Cotton (Bennie), Elsie Cotton (Charlie) and Eula Cotton (David); her goddaughter Alexus McIntyre; and her friend Elizabeth Dove. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ely Funeral Home (3316 NJ-33, Neptune City, NJ 07753). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Monmouth Memorial Park (4201 NJ-33, Tinton Falls, NJ 07753).
