We are sad to announce that on April 17, 2020, at the age of 75, Elva Tate (Neptune City, New Jersey) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Veney and Rosie Veney; her sister Lorraine Earline Owens; and her brothers-in-law, Joseph Owens and Earl Ashton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Delphine Veney of Wilson, NC, Nichelle Tate of Long Branch, NJ and Terrice Tate (Vernon Lee) of Oakhurst, NJ; her granddaughter Paula; her husband Leroy Tate; her sisters, Geraldine Brown of Maryland and Katherine Ashton; and her grandchildren, Tracey Jones, Zerrick Jones, Cherie Holland, Paulette Holland, Natiana Lee, Nadajah Lee and Nakihya Lee. She is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren, and a host of other nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, and friends.
