He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford M. Sofield and Esther Henrietta Sofield; his wife Maureen Collins Sofield; and also Patricia A. Collins. He is survived by: his daughter Anne Sofield; his brothers, George W. (Jeanne), Michael J. (Susan) and Dr. William L. Sofield (Barbara); his friends, Rosemarie, Raoul Cordeaux, Maureen De Blasio and Kathleen McCarthy; and his cousin Maryann J. Farry. He is also survived by seven nephews, and three nieces.
