She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Phelps of National Park, NJ.; her parents, Rev. Harry Biggs and Edna Biggs; her daughters, Marguerite Phelps and Lois Sprowl (Brian); and her brothers, Paul and David.

She is survived by: her children, Mark Biggs (Debra), Michael Phelps (Judy) and Rebecca Viola (Armond); her grandchildren, Mark, Paul Biggs, Armond Viola (Allison), Julia Connors (Daniel), Jaclyn Grasmick (Donald), Jordan Sprowl, Maria and Michael Phelps, III; her great grandchildren, Brianna Biggs and Cody Connors; and her brother Harry. She is also survived by great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the National M.S. Society, the Lupus Foundation of America or the American Cancer Society.

“Lois and I kept in touch better than I did with any of my other first cousins. She will be missed, but I rest assured that she is now in a better place with our heavenly Father and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, along with other loved ones. I especially appreciate all that she and her daughter Marguerite did to help care for my Aunt Eva after her move back to New Jersey.”
