He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Joyce Zindel; and his child Gay Smithson. He is survived by: his children, John "Jack" R. Zindel, IV (Lorraine), Linda Miller and Michael J. Zindel (Susan).
Due to the current pandemic, there will be no receiving line or opportunity to greet the family. Interment will be private in Head of the River Cemetery, Estell Manor, NJ.
