He was predeceased by: his son Sean Bastien; and his sister JoAnn DeCampli (Tom). He is survived by: his wife Amelia "Amy" Bastien; his children, Melissa Bastien, Jamie Bastien and James "Jim" Bastien, Jr.; his grandchildren, Dustin Danielle and Chase; his siblings, Howard Bastien (Janet), Georgene Gray, Robert Bastien (Nancy) and Elizabeth Keller (Roger); and his pet Cujo.
