He was predeceased by: his brothers, Theodore and Robert. He is survived by: his wife Joan Carr; his children, George B. Carr Jr. (Patricia), Dan Carr and Cathy Yrizarry (Nowlien); his siblings, Thomas, Phillip, Harry and Benjamin Carr; and his brother-in-law Jack Logan (Kay).
