It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lewis Jae Vaughn Sharik Pointer of Mullica Hill, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on May 2, 2021, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Pointer and Bonita Pointer. He is survived by: his children, Lewis Blake Pointer, III and Paige Lauren Pointer; his parents-in-law, Alphonso and Frances Borden; his children, Dr. Ewurabena Plange-Kaye and Javoun Williams; his brother Bryce Pointer; his nieces and nephews, Brandon, Justin Boyce, Jamari and Caidence Pointer; and his siblings, Kareem Jackson and Zeby. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lewis Blake Pointer, III and/or Paige Lauren Pointer Educational Trust (s).
