He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarwan Singh and Gurnam Kaur. He is survived by: his wife Malkit Kaur; his children, Gurmeet Kaur, Baljit Kaur Gill and Daljit Kaur; his grandchildren, Jastej Kaur, Onkar Kaur, Simran Kaur and Jagjivanjot Singh; and his extended family, Jagjit Singh Gill, Jaspreet Singh and Harpreet Singh.
