He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Voorhees and Anna Voorhees (Skene); his brother Donald Voorhees; and his nephew Billy Voorhees. He is survived by: his wife Gail Elizabeth Voorhees (Thomas) of Mullica Hill; his daughters, Cheryl-Ann Sorbello (Fred) of Mullica Hill and Bethann Mitchell of Mullica Hill; his grandchildren, Daniel Sorbello (Heather), Alexandra Sorbello, Ryan Mitchell and Nathaniel Sorbello; his great grandchildren, Alexander Sorbello, Theodore Gular, Evelyn Sorbello, Dante Gular and Anthony Gular; his brother William Voorhees (Christine) of Clinton, CT; his sister-in-law Sandra Voorhees of Southington, CT; and his nieces and nephews, Cindy Voorhees, Craig Voorhees (Judy), Lori Smilnak, Drew Van Voorhees, Lynn Thomas and David Thomas. He is also survived by his wife and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
