With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Burke (Mountainside, New Jersey), born in Revere, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 19, 2019 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Burke and Margaret Burke; his wife Maureen; and his sisters-in-law, Ann McElroy Hynes, Joan McElroy and Bernadette McElroy.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Shober, Michael Burke, Stephen Burke (Quinn), Brian Burke (Lisa), Maureen Berman of Unicoi, TN and Susan Dixey (Danny) of Acton, ME; his brother-in-law Owen McElroy (Monita); his grandchildren, Colin, Ellie (Ysabel Shober), Carly (Brynne Burke), Kira (Brenna Burke), Rebekah Polofsky, Benjamin (Sarah Berman) and Amanda (Melissa Dixey); his niece Kelly Hynes; and his nephews, Owen McElroy and Sean Hynes. He is also survived by Five great grandchildren.
