We are sad to announce that on August 12, 2024, Mario Garcia of Mountainside, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Garcia and Lola Garcia; and his siblings, Pepito Garcia, Jose Luis Garcia and Rosa Garcia.

He is survived by: his spouse Concepcion "Connie" Garcia; his daughters, Maria Dolores Garcia and Melissa Sarracino (Ralph); his grandchildren, Lyla Conchita Yurecko, Mia Raffaela Yurecko, Sebastian Yurecko, Luca Gerard Sarracino and Nico Cruz Sarracino; and his siblings, Manolo Garcia, Guillermo Garcia and Conchita Garcia. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

“08/14/2024 May Mario Garcia rest in Peace. I knew him from the dozens of times we visited Spanish Tavern for business lunches & dinners. He was consistently professional and a real gentleman. Mario always treated my guests and me with such respect and care. Everyone was delighted when dining at the Spanish Tavern. I brought my parents and in-laws to Spanish Tavern on Mothers Day maybe 30+ years past. Mario treated my family SO well that they spoke about it for decades after.”
