He is survived by: his spouse Etelvina Fonseca Morais Chantre; his children, Ana Chantre Franzen (Todd) and Celia Chantre Saldida; his siblings, Manuel Chantre, Rosa Chantre, Antonio Chantre, Laurinda Chantre, Maria Jose Chantre and Natividade Lopes; his grandchildren, Nicole Sardo (Paulo), Michael Saldida (JoAnn Simoes) and Alexa Saldida; and his great grandchild Auriana Sardo. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
