She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Gonsalves and Virginia Gonsalves (McCay); her husband William O'Brien, Sr.; her siblings, Thomas, Virginia and Jane; and her stepchildren, Kevin O'Brien, Suzanne Asher and Sally.

She is survived by: her partner Chris Sullivan; her siblings, Suzanne and Stephen; and her stepsons, William, Jr., Daniel and James. She is also survived by her grandchildren; her great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
