She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Merolla and Mary Merolla (Clark); her husband John T. Mitchell Jr. (Jack); and her siblings, Frank Merolla Jr. and Judith Vedro.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Goodbar (Bill) of Mountain Lakes, NJ and Douglas Mitchell (Sue) of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; and her grandchildren, Mitchell Goodbar, Reid Goodbar, Spencer Goodbar, Bradford Goodbar, Morgan Mitchell, Matthew Mitchell and Owen Mitchell. She is also survived by her many friends and her surviving relatives.
