She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertha Paterek and Stanley Paterek; and her husband Edward Valentine Kopec. She is survived by: her daughter Dorene Kopec-Starostiak; her son-in-law Roman Starostiak; her daughters, Arlene Feehan, Darlene Kopec-O'Kean (Thomas O'Kean) and Deidre Kopec-Geiger (William Geiger); and her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Rose O'Kean, Jillian Rose O'Kean, Edward Starostiak (Jenie Starostiak) and Victor Starostiak. She is also survived by her parents, and her siblings.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Norman Dean Home (16 Righter Ave, Denville, NJ 07834). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Catherine of Siena Church (10 N Pocono Rd, Mountain Lakes, NJ 07046). A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Ascension Cemetery (650 Saddle River Rd, Airmont, NY 10952).
