He was predeceased by: his son A. J. Allen; his parents, Edward Warner, Jr. and Gwendolyn Latour Rosler; and his children, Nanook, Max and Dude.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen O'Dowd-Allen; his daughters, Casey Bock (Corey Bencivengo) and Caitlin Allen-Cowan (Will Cowan); his grandchildren, Madison Bock, Liam Allen and Bailey Bock; his siblings, Scott Allen, Dana Allen and Russ Allen; and his brother-in-law John O'Dowd. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews.
