He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy King and Joseph King; his sisters, Diane Emory and Donna Stickel; and his nephews, Sierra Emory and John Davenport.

He is survived by: his sister Dorothy Garden; his significant other Janice Sherry; his sons, Tyson King (Samantha Brunner) and Connor King; his significant other's children, Lauren Baingo (Scott), Todd Sherry (Crystal) and Lindsey Meloni (Nick); his grandchildren, Alexa, Emilia Meloni, Julian, Carson Gieda and Tyler Scholz; and his great-nieces, Eden and Viassa Emory.
