She is survived by: her siblings, Edward Schlechtweg III, Gail Burns, Elaine Greiner and Catherine DeMarco; and her brother-in-law Nick DeMarco. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

“Dear Wanda's family and friends, please accept my sincere condolence. Despite challenges, Wanda was upbeat and positive. Not many people are as open and genuine as she was. Since I'm in Seattle I haven't seen Wanda in years but we would talk on the phone from time to time. Wanda enjoyed drawing. She described her picture of cherry tree and a moon to me, saying the cherry tree was based on the one she was familiar with as a child. Best regards, Susan Flagler, Robert Flagler's sister”
