He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nancy; his children, Carole Smith (Wayne) of Pennsauken, Patty Shearer (Mark Leidy), Thomas Hall (Will) of Stratford and Dianne Shearer of Bellmawr; his grandchildren, Joseph, Christopher, Angelina, Gianna and Tyler; and his siblings, Anna Mae Shearer, Patricia Shearer, Bertha Skipton, JoAnn Watson and Kenneth Shearer. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc., 3 Eves Drive, Suite 310, Marlton, NJ 08053.
