He was predeceased by: his wife Grace; and his parents, Charles Sr. Shirley and Helen Shirley. He is survived by: his children, Paul Jr., Robert (Angel), Theresa Eiger (David) and Timothy Shirley; his stepchildren, Patricia DiBartolomeo (Dan), Howard Reed (Robin) and Allison Thomas (Christopher); and his siblings, Charles Jr. (Diana) and Sue Ann Shirley. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
