He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Anna Bednar, Jr. (Teringo) of Gillespie, Pennsylvania.. He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Franceschi) of Mount Laurel; his sons, Paul Bednar of Pittsboro and Christopher Bednar of Houston; and his grandchildren, Matthew Bednar, Andrew Bednar, Thomas Bednar and Mary Ann Bednar.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Leonard's memory to the 2021 House of Charity for Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
