He is survived by: his wife Ester Escaro Barsaga; his children, Jose E. Barsaga Jr. and Anna Jasmin Agravante; his grandchildren, Alexandra Agravante and Lance Agravante; his sisters, Milagros Bonot, Isabel Omas, Gloria Pascual, Leonor Serrano, Elenora Barsaga, Bernadita Acabado and Nita Olivarez; and his parents-in-law, James Agravante and Yessa Barsaga.
