With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dolores Tavares of Mount Laurel, New Jersey, born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, who passed away on October 23, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Dolores may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dolores touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Trolaro and Marie Trolaro. She is survived by: her husband Rudolph Tavares; her brother Frank Trolaro of Toms River, NJ; her children, Loretta Nowak (Mark) of Marlton, NJ and Ronald Tavares (Lisa) of Bristol, PA; and her grandchildren, Brian, Sarah and Corey Nowak.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Krowicki Gorny Memorial (211 Westfield Ave, Clark, NJ 07066). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Gertrude Cemetery (53 Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ 07067).
