She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Diwakar Mishra; and her parents, Ayodhya Prasad Rana and Sushila Devi. She is survived by: her children, Anand Mishra (Rosemary) and Dr. Dolly Mishra (Syed); her grandchildren, Krystle Tara Mishra, Angelica Kiran Mishra, Jennah Alayna Ali and Zachariah Aidan Ali; and her siblings, Narendra Prasad Rana (Sudha), Om Prakash Sharma (Amita) and Dr. Kiran Rana (Harish).
