He is survived by: his wife Nydia Montes; his children, Reynaldo Vargas (Sharon Ferrell-Vargas), Yanessa Montes and Sharin Montes; his grandchildren, Thalia Montes, Nicolas Vargas and Lorenzo Felicia; his sister Elena Montes; his mother-in-law Providencia Hernandez; and his brother-in-law Issac Torres.
