It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph A. Nicklas Sr. of Mount Ephraim, New Jersey, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 30, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius E. Nicklas and Ida; his wife Regina; his son Kevin; and his brother Julius Nicklas (Eddie).

He is survived by: his son Joseph A. Nicklas, Jr. (Rosemary); his daughter-in-law Anastasia Williams; his grandchildren, Regina, Dylan, Nicole and Danielle; his siblings, Ida and William Nicklas (Ruth); and his sister-in-law Eileen Doyle. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID-19 pandemic, Joseph's services will be private and held on Friday February 5th.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Assisi House, 600 Red Hill Road, Aston, PA 19014.

“Joey and Family - May you feel God's warm embrace as you all walk through this most difficult time. Uncle Joe was such a sweet soul and always had a huge smile when greeting you. His greatest joy was being a grandparent. Whenever he would send Christmas and birthday cards to Timmy, he would sign "Papa Joe". Please feel our love and hugs from the west coast.
