He was predeceased by: his parents, James Monroe and Mary Monroe; his sister Teresa Monroe; his parents-in-law, George and Jessie Gallieshaw; his siblings, Phillis Gibson (Fredrick) of Williamstown, NJ and Michael Monroe (Althea) of Delaware; and his sister-in-law Edna Bussie (Ali).
He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Monroe of Camden, NJ; his children, Samantha Fox-Monroe, Gabrielle Fox-Monroe and Joshua Fox-Monroe of Texas; his stepson Darryl Gallieshaw of Camden, NJ.; his sister Lorraine Manning (Jack) of Michigan; his siblings-in-law, John Little (Carolyn), Reginald Little (Chong), Melvin Little (Kathleen), Martin Little (Tanya), Shirley Bush (Charles), Joyce Scott (Clinton), Wanda Little and Marica Gies (Joseph); and his granddaughter Alayni Morales Gallieshaw of New Jersey. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and co-workers.
