He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Barber and Julia Barber (Grabowski). He is survived by: his wife Lucy Barber; his sister Patricia Gaines; his nephews, Michael Gaines (Nancy Jansen) and Casey Gaines; his brother-in-law James LaPuzz; and his great-nephews, Jacob Gaines and Joshua Gaines. He is also survived by several cousins and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home (150 Landing Rd, Landing, NJ 07850). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady Star of the Sea RC Church (204 Espanong Rd, Lake Hopatcong, NJ 07849).
