He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Maher and Grace Maher (English); his stepchildren, Brian and Doreen Kane; and his brothers, William and Paul Maher.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Maher (Mancini); his stepsons, Tom Kane (Marion) and Paul Kane (Theresa); and his sister Joann Orosz (Stephen). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
