She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Kasmer and Edith Kasmer; her husband Dr. Alexander Smigelski; and her brother Frank Kasmer (Helen). She is survived by: her children, Regina Greenwood (Rick) and Alexander Smigelski; her grandchildren, Alex Smigelski (Kailyn), Michael Smigelski, Ricky Greenwood, Kara Greenwood and Brian Greenwood; and her great grandchild Navy Marie Smigelski.

It would have pleased Doris to have donations in her memory made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
