Though Zoya may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Zoya touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecilia Okuneva (Schuhman) and Petr Rahk; her brother Boris; and her husband Dmitriy. She is survived by: her children, Peter and Yelena; her son-in-law Alexander; and her granddaughters, Marina and Olga.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Dangler Funeral Home (600 Speedwell Ave, Morris Plains, NJ 07950).
