He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine W. McIntosh; his parents, George W. McIntosh and Margaret M. McIntosh; his brother George B. McIntosh; his brother-in-law Bruce Chrone; and his niece Lauren Chrone.

He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Margaret Barter (Dave) and Winifred M. Chrone; and his nieces and nephews, Meredith Barter, Meghan B. O'Brien, Marguerite Barter, David A. Barter, Philip Barter and Jonathan Chrone. He is also survived by 15 great-nieces and nephews.
