He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Caruso and Mary Caruso (Mazzone); his sisters, Ruth Lucia (Rocky) and Dolores Garcia; and his brother-in-law John.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his grandchildren, Joseph Petro (Dana), Kevin Downes II, Lauren Hubbard (Matthew), Courtney Downes, Matthew Caruso (Jessica), Peter Caruso, Paul Caruso, Joseph Quinn, Jr., John Caruso and Nicholas Quinn; his great grandchild Benjamin Caruso Petro; his brother-in-law Michael Lucia, Sr.; and also, Joanie, Kevin Downes of Hanover, Debbie, Rick Petro of Princeton Junction, Peter, Dawn Caruso of Succasunna, Lori and Joe Quinn of Chester. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
