He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius F. McGillicuddy and Margaret O'Connor McGillicuddy; and his brother Neil McGillicuddy. He is survived by: his wife Eileen McGillicuddy (Wilson); his children, Brian (Nancy McGillicuddy), Owen (Pat McGillicuddy), Lynne (Greg Douglas), Mark (Diane McGillicuddy), Anne (Steve Dyer) and Karen (Kevin Cook); and his siblings, Robert (Mary McGillicuddy), Kevin (Nancy McGillicuddy), Mary Whitney and Irene Desharnais. He is also survived by six children, eighteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Boston Latin School.
