He was predeceased by: his brother Giacomo (John); his wife Dolores DeBlis of Millburn; his sons, John and Steven John Faccenda, Sr.; and his siblings, Jake, Josephine Capezzuto and Ann Moglia.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Kathy Morrissey of Mt. Arlington; his children, Gary (MaryLee) of Denville and Madeline Carroll of Morris Plains; his daughters-in-law, Francine Faccenda of Boonton and Debbie Faccenda of Hackettstown; his grandchildren, Jaye Schaffer (Greg), Nick, Allison, Tyler, Steven Jr., Tim (Katrina) and Taryn; and his great grandchildren, Logan and Wyatt.

In lieu of flowers, John would be honored for donations to be made in his late son Jay's memory to the "Jay Faccenda Scholarship Fund "which provides for an annual music scholarship to two graduating seniors from Whippany Park High School.
