He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hornyak and Alice Hornyak (Helms); his wife Diane Hornyak (Brown); and his sister Diane Redner. He is survived by: his nephews, Brent Borum, Thomas Laner and Billy Storms, Jr.; his sons, John J. Hornyak, Jr. (Meghan) of Lafayette and Jason H. Hornyak (Alexis) of Wantage; his grandchildren, Colten, Avreigh, Adalynn and Evelyn; and his siblings, Earl Hornyak (Tracy) of Ogdensburg, Gail Pollard (Butch) of Sussex and Carol Laner (Tom) of Wantage. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews; cousins, and great friends.
