She was predeceased by: her brothers, Lemuel Bhatia and Rasin Bhatia. She is survived by: her husband Isudas Chauhan; her children, Lenny Chauhan (Reena) of Morris Plains, NJ, Varsha Christian (Dennis) of Parsippany, NJ and Bankim "Ben" Chauhan (Janet) of Parsippany, NJ; her brother Anant Bhatia of Virginia; and her grandchildren, Sharon, Alison, Joshua, Mark, John and Megan.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the S. J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service (60 N Beverwyck Rd, Lake Hiawatha, NJ 07034). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at 14 Marsha Terrace, Parsippany, NJ 07054. A burial was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Hanover Cemetery (30 Hanover Rd, East Hanover, NJ 07936).
