It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Donnell Spencer (Morristown, New Jersey), who passed away on December 31, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Spencer and Henry Reid; his siblings, Mary G. Jackson, Edmund M. Johnson and Robert C. Banks; and his grandson Dejan D. Foster.
He is survived by: his children, Preston of Newark, NJ, Jo-Anna of Hillside, NJ and Jalena of Jamestown, NC; his grandchildren, Tania, Shanae, Elijah and Meikel; his siblings, William E. Spenser (Sheila), Herbert W. Banks So (Jessi), Pamela Banks Depew of Roxboro, NC and Gwendolyn Aiken Stanhope NJ (Edward); his sister-in-law Veron Johnson; and his nephew Deacon Charles E. Johnson (Diane). He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, family and friends.
