He was predeceased by: his parents, Marjorie Stein (Bennett) and Walter Charles Stein; and his spouse Hazue Tamura. He is survived by: his children, Susan Stein Bachman, Marjorie Stein Marcucci and Bennett Charles Stein (Charlie); his son-in-law Warren Marcucci; his granddaughter Rebecka Haley Marcucci; and also Lindsay Owen.
