He was predeceased by: his parent Andrés Alas Cruz. He is survived by: his mother Maria Fidelina Hernandéz Carerro; his siblings, Edgar Alexander Alas, Yesenia Hernandéz, Edwin Saul Hernandéz, Juan Hernandéz, Oscar Hernandéz and Marina Magdalena; and his nephews, Juan Hernandéz and Anthony Hernandéz. He is also survived by many extended family and dear friends.
