With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alan J Mautone (Morristown, New Jersey), born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on February 5, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel and Marie; and his brother Dennis. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Daniel (Courtney), Allison and David (Christyn); his grandchildren, Violet, Mackenzie and Ethan; and his brother Anthony. He is also survived by his children and for the last 5 years his grandchildren.

Funeral mass is private due to Covid restrictions but those who wish to participate may do so by going to http://www.assumptionparish.org on Thursday at 10:00AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Alan's memory may be made to Second Chance Pet Adoption League (https: //http://www.paypal.com) or to the Newark Fresh Air Fund (https: //http://www.newarkdaycenter.org).
