She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Aiken and Hannah Aiken; her sons, Joseph Lafayette III of Morristown, NJ. and Johnathan David of Morristown, NJ.; and her siblings, Herman, Eugene, Samuel, Marion, Elijah, Harold, Nathaniel, Catherine, Gladys, Mary Lee and Roberta.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Boyd Sr.; her siblings, LeRoy Aiken, Sr. (Carolyn) of Morristown, NJ and Joann McCann (Louis) of Knightdale, NC; her grandchildren, Jordyn, Jaedyn, Jaylah and Joseph; her friends, Mary and Gus Blanchard of Minnesota; and her niece Sharon Golden. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
